Who Knew?! Morg’s a chef now! I had to show love! Support the people that support you!

Let me start by saying, congrats to my best friend and now chef, Morghan Medlock! She’s overcome so many obstacles in her life and defied the odds. This accomplishment was well-deserved! Of, course we had to celebrate!

Paint the City Pink

One large cup of Urth Caffé’s “Rude Awakening” and a chef diploma later, we were done with all the #grad stuff and all Morgie wanted to do was eat at a few restaurants of her liking, so that’s what we did. First stop: Great Maple! We had a delicious brunch on the patio with the family and had a few celebratory mimosas. Second stop later on in the day, which may have been one of the best: The Bazaar by José Andrés! I was looking forward to this experience, so my excitement was on 1,000!

“Ohhhhh, what’s that?! Let’s try it!”

I literally said that all night! We tried so many different tapas-style dishes that I couldn’t even begin to name every one of them, but I will highlight a couple of dishes *winks eye.* The Leeks and Asparagus, King Crab Steamed Buns, and the Grilled Spanish Octopus were my top three dishes. We ventured out and tried the Cotton Candy Foie Gras and that quickly became our least fav — things didn’t quite sit right, BUT we tried it! #Yuck. Before ending our night, we were re-seated in the “Patisserie” area, where we enjoyed a few desserts of our liking. We had CHOCOLATE-COVERED POP ROCKS (life-changing for my #chocolatelovers), a few other sweets, and a couple of night cap drinks to end this perfect day.
